Biography
A Florida native, Ashley Durovic graduated from the University of South Florida in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology. In 2014, she pursued her Juris Doctor degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and graduated in 2018.
Throughout her time at WMU Cooley Law School, Ms. Durovic was highly involved. In addition to her membership in several organizations, she held numerous leadership titles, including: American Bar Association Civil Rights and Social Justice: Student Committee Member; Florida Association of Women Lawyers, where she served as Secretary and President; WMU Cooley Journal of Practical & Clinical Law: Articles Editor.
Prior to starting with Imler Law, Mrs. Durovic has extensive experience in employment law, having worked for previous firms where she focused on workplace discrimination, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination and compliance with federal regulations such as Title VII, the ADA, and FMLA. She has successfully drafted and filed persuasive pleadings and managed complex litigation matters. Her ability to conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis has strengthened countless employment law cases, helping clients achieve favorable outcomes.
Additionally, Mrs. Durovic interned with United Nations High Commission of Refugees (UNHCR) where she monitored and analyzed proposed legislation affecting refugees, asylum seekers, and stateless individuals; and attended congressional hearings to represent UNHCR as a policy liaison.
Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Durovic is the Founder and President of The Janice Hart Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering caregivers. She leads strategic initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and program development to drive meaningful change for caregivers and their families.
Ms. Durovic is pending Florida Bar licensure, with results expected in April 2025. She is a dedicated advocate for workplace fairness bringing both legal expertise and compassionate leadership to every endeavor.
In her spare time, Mrs. Durovic enjoys going on adventures with her husband and German Shepard Loki and spending time with her family and friends.
